NOTICE OF SOLICITATION FOR CANDIDATES
NOTICE OF REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
The Annual Election for the Town of Selbyville Town Council shall be held in the Selbyville Town Hall, 1 West Church Street, Selbyville, Delaware, on Saturday,
March 2, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
Filing Notice of Candidacy: For two (2) Town Council Members shall be elected, each for a term of two (2) years. Anyone wishing to file as a candidate for the election must file a written Notice of Candidacy in the Town Hall no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024. Forms will be provided to interested parties at the Town Hall.
Candidacy Requirements: Candidates for the Town Council must meet all the following requirements: Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age; be a U.S. citizen; and shall have been a bona fide resident of the Town for a period of at least one (1) year prior to the date of the election.
Voter Registration: If a qualified voter is not registered with the Town, such voter may register at the Town Hall no later than Friday, February 9, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. To qualify to vote, one must: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; be a U.S. citizen; and be a bona fide resident of the Town.
