All K-12 Students Invited to Participate in Fire & Ice Festival Writing Challenge
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 21, 2025
Each year, the Fire & Ice Festival boasts a brand new theme. Over the last eight years, the themes have ranged from “Out of This World” to all things “Delmarvalous” and even “Into the Wild”. For 2025, K-12 students are invited to submit an original writing piece to add to this year’s “A Weekend for the Books” theme! All submitted stories that meet basic guidelines will be published in a special-bound, Fire & Ice Festival keepsake book. Submissions can be written in essay, story, or poetry style and can be an original story, about a favorite book or the Fire & Ice Festival itself. All students are invited to participate. Entries must be handwritten but certain exceptions will be approved. There is no minimum or maximum length and any illustrations are welcome! Submissions are due by Wednesday, January 29th at 9:00AM and can be sent via photo or PDF scan to Alyssa at events@thequietresorts.com or mailed to the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce (36913 Coastal Highway, Fenwick Island, DE 19944)
