9/11/2025 Hometown Heroes Banner Dedication Ceremony

We are thrilled to share that 57 Hometown Hero Banners are now proudly displayed along Cemetery Road, Main Street, Bethany Road, and Lighthouse Road, honoring the local brave men and women who have served our country.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the moving Banner Dedication Ceremony on September 11, 2025, at the Selbyville Fire Hall. Your presence made the day even more meaningful.

The Town of Selbyville has launched a new and improved online payment system! You can now view AND pay your utility and tax bills all in one place!

Visit: https://selbyville.delaware.gov/online-payments/
Then click the “Online Payment” button to get started.

With this new system, you can:
• View your current bills online
• Make a one-time payment
• Or create an account for future payments and easy access

To proceed, you will need to have the following information ready:
• Your account number (format: ####.00)
• Your street number only

Be sure to enter your account number exactly as it appears on your bill to avoid any issues.

Please note: The system accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover & Amex, and a 3% service fee applies to all transactions.

Please allow up to three (3) business days for your payment to be processed

Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival Returns for 47th Year
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 16, 2025
 
The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 2025 Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival, to be held on Saturday, September 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For over 46 years, this annual event has hosted over 100 juried artists to showcase and sell their work. The featured artists bring unique creations representing a variety of different mediums including paintings, photography, woodwork, metalwork, clay, baskets, and jewelry.
 
The festival weekend will begin on Friday, September 5th with the Meet the Artists Reception hosted by Gallery One from 5-7 p.m. Sponsored by Delaware Division of the Arts, enjoy an evening with the 16 talented partner artists of Gallery One located at 32 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean View. Wine tastings will be offered by Salted Vines Vineyard and Winery and lite fare by Taste Events. This is an RSVP-only event. All registered attendees will qualify to win a $300 Gallery One gift card and original pottery by artist John Cooley.
 
During the festival on the 6th, artist booths will be on display on Garfield Parkway, the Bethany Bandstand, Hollywood Street, Parkwood Street and along the boardwalk. There will also be a silent auction on the bandstand stage, featuring works of art generously donated by the festival’s artists. The silent auction is sponsored by Custom Mechanical and all proceeds from the silent auction will support the arts programs of local elementary schools in the region.
 
Back by popular demand, Beach Liquors is sponsoring a ticketed Wine & Cheese Tasting event at Harvest Tide Steakhouse event space, located in the heart of the festival at 98 Garfield Pkwy., 3rd Floor in Bethany Beach. The Wine Tasting event will take place at two separate time slots (1–3p.m. and 4-6p.m.) and feature tastings from a variety of different wines.
