Residents and businesses are advised to check for discolored water, especially in their washing machines. If you observe discolored water, let your faucet run for a few minutes to see if it clears up. If it doesn’t, contact the water department at 302-436-8349. 2025 Delaware Coastal Community Clean Up
Date Posted: Wednesday, March 26th, 2025Please find below the Press Release from the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Delaware Coastal Community Clean Up Scheduled for April 12th The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce and the Inland Bays Garden Center, in partnership with Keep Delaware Beautiful, will host the Coastal Delaware Community Clean Up on Saturday, April 12th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Groups and individuals alike are invited to adopt and clean a section of roadway throughout The Quiet Resorts. Participants can clean up the roadways wherever they see a need or can be assigned to an area. All registered volunteers will receive check-in details and location information the week of the event. The Inland Bays Garden Center will serve as the central hub location where registered volunteers will check in, receive clean-up supplies, and discard collected trash.
